One of the characteristics of critical thinkers is that there is often a predisosition to be a critical thinker. Critical thinkers tend to be curious learners and are eager to know more about something. In order to create an environment within the classroom to strengthen curiosity for learning, Learning Bits can be used. 

Bits are images that are shown in rapid succession, usually at the beginning of class. They are initially shown without explanation with the idea that students will become intrigued by the images they see, perhaps even recognizing some of them. 



This methodology can then be built upon by slowly adding in information each time the images are shown. For example, in the second class we can add in the name of the artist, and in the third the name of the painting. 

This methodology is suited for any level and can be used in any language.
