REQUIREMENTS FOR SHORT PAPERS
- Length: max. six pages of 2,100 characters per page
(total length approximately 2,000 words)
- Summary: between 90 and 100 words
- Characteristics of the text:
- programme, Word (Windows 2000 or XP)
- font, Arial, 12 point for text and 10 for notes (if any)
- notes, if any, at the foot of the page
- pages must be numbered with the page numbered justified at the lower right
- Author’s name: the author’s name should appear at the top of the text, below the title, accompanied by his or her professional title, workplace and city.
- Illustrations: when published, the paper can be illustrated if necessary with images or graphics. Up to 4 illustrations are allowed. They must be accompanied by their respective footnote, which functions to identify the image, not to describe it or add further information.
- Image requirements: if illustrations are included, the images must be in TIFF format at 300 ppp resolution.
- Other requirements: aside from the format required for the presentation of the written text of the paper, in its oral presentation each presenter can use whatever images or graphics he or she considers appropriate. These will be presented in Power-point, and the presenter must provide this presentation one week before the Conference, i.e. before 3 April.
- Length of short papers: time is extremely tight for the Communication Panels at the Conference, in order for all short papers to be read and to allow time for the moderators’ comments. Presenters of short papers are therefore requested not to exceed the recommended limit of 10 minutes. Under no circumstances must papers exceed 12 minutes.
- Delivery date: the manuscript for publishing must be ready before 3 April 2008 in order for it to be translated and for the subsequent conference papers to be published.

Languages to be used at the conference:
The lectures will have a simultaneous translation system so that all papers can be followed in Spanish or English. The short papers, however, will not have simultaneous translation..
